Courses Professional Trader Development

FROM KNOWLEDGE
TO CONSISTENCY.

The Professional Trader Development Program is the methodology, structured. Forty years of market study distilled into a seven-step framework, delivered as four courses, accessed through Navigator.

01 — The Challenge

CAUGHT BETWEEN FUNDS
AND ALGORITHMS.

Today’s technical day trader is caught in the middle — between massive funds running multi-month programs and HFT firms that define strategies in milliseconds. Without a fact foundation, you become liquidity for both.

One End of the Field
LARGE FUNDS

Trade the open, close, and off the VWAP. Re-balance for AUM and margin. Execute against higher time-frame structure. Their decisions don’t care about your intraday support and resistance. When they need to be involved, they just do it — and the move is relentless.

The Other End
HFT ALGORITHMS

Dominate the orderbook in microseconds. Statistical arbitrage. Market-making with predatory overlay tactics designed to game weak hands in and out of positions. The microstructure is engineered to extract liquidity from undisciplined participants. Without recognizing the patterns, you are the liquidity.

The Professional Trader Development Program exists for one reason: technical traders need a structured fact foundation to compete in this environment. Discretionary edge comes from intuitive decision-making. Intuition comes from self-trust. Self-trust comes from a knowledge base of facts. This program is the knowledge base.

02 — The Seven-Step Framework

SEVEN STEPS.
ONE STRUCTURED PATH.

The curriculum follows a deliberate progression — from self-awareness to market awareness to strategy execution to risk discipline. Each step builds on the previous. Skipping ahead means building on sand.

01
KNOW YOURSELF
Mind & Self-Awareness
“Know yourself and you will win all battles.” — Sun Tzu, The Art of War

The path to clarity begins with self-awareness and the elimination of subjective bias. The Five-Factor Performance Profile identifies how you operate under pressure — what you reach for in stress, where your discipline holds, where it fails. Without this, every other step is built on sand.

Trader Insights 7 modules · MIND PARTS 1–7
02
KNOW YOUR ENEMY
Market Participants
“You win battles by knowing the enemy’s timing, and using timing which the enemy does not expect.” — Miyamoto Musashi, The Book of Five Rings

The market is a zero-sum game. Every winner profits at the expense of a loser. Large funds run multi-month programs against higher time-frame structure; HFT firms dominate the orderbook in microseconds. Without understanding their strategies and incentives, you are the liquidity. Recognize the patterns for what they are.

03
KNOW THE BATTLEFIELD
Market State & Structure
“Water shapes its course according to the nature of the ground over which it flows; the soldier works out his victory in relation to the foe whom he is facing.” — Sun Tzu, The Art of War

Markets are interconnected and fundamentally driven. The PriceMap defines structure — where price operates. MarketColor defines state — the condition price operates within. Together they identify the strategy themes that represent the best risk-defined opportunities for the session.

Analytics Insights 18 modules · MARKET PARTS 1–10, TECH PARTS 1–5, STRUCTURE PARTS 1–3
04
KNOW THE APPROPRIATE STRATEGY
Strategy Themes
“Victorious warriors win first and then go to war, while defeated warriors go to war first and then seek to win.” — Sun Tzu, The Art of War

The market structure bias defines strategy themes — what is most likely to occur and how to capture it. Directional positioning, risk hedging, profit hedging, accumulation, momentum, return enhancement. Each strategy theme has its place. The framework defines which one fits the current state.

05
KNOW THE APPROPRIATE TACTIC
Entry Techniques
“Strategy without tactics is the slowest route to victory. Tactics without strategy is the noise before defeat.” — Sun Tzu, The Art of War

Three entry techniques carry the framework: Fade (return-to-mean), Breakout (transitional momentum), Reversal (false-breakout). Each tactic has its place. The state-and-structure dynamic determines which one applies. Variance and Alert Distance metrics define the boundaries.

Execution Insights 5 modules · FADE, BREAKOUT, REVERSAL, RISK METRICS, REWARD METRICS
06
KNOW WHEN TO STRIKE
Execution Timing
“He will win who knows when to fight and when not to fight.” — Sun Tzu, The Art of War

Order book dynamics complete the optimization. Imbalance, intensity of trade, resting paper, liquidity shifts, large lot orders — the microstructure tells you when within the framework to act. Technical analysis has its place; it is supporting evidence, not the foundation.

Execution Insights 2 modules · MICROSTRUCTURE TACTICS, TECHNICAL ANALYSIS
07
KNOW WHEN TO RETREAT
Money Management
“The greatest victory is that which requires no battle.” — Sun Tzu, The Art of War

Defensive money management is what separates sustainable traders from blow-up stories. Risk per trade. Position sizing rules that grow capital without unmanageable exposure. Stop all emotional system-1 trading. The discipline to size up when the framework says go big, and size down when it says go small.
