Getting Started

THREE STEPS. FIVE MINUTES.

MKT.TRADE runs all the infrastructure. There is nothing to download or install. You connect Navigator to your AI agent once — then it is there every time you open it.

Navigator is built on the open MCP standard and works with any compatible agent. The steps below use Claude, the recommended path.

Generate Your API Key
Your API key is your personal authentication credential. It links your agent session to the DCT system and is unique to your account.
  • →Go to app.mkt.trade and log in, or subscribe.
  • →Open your account settings and generate a new API key.
  • →Copy it — you will paste it in Step 2 when prompted.
Keep it secure. Your API key is unique to your account. Do not share it — treat it like a password. If you lose it, generate a new one from your account settings.

Add the DCT Connector
In Claude, go to Settings → Connectors → Add Custom Connector. Enter the fields below exactly as shown.

When prompted for authentication, paste the API key you generated in Step 1. This authorizes your agent to connect to the DCT system on your behalf.

Select Your Profile Options
When you first connect, you are presented with a set of checkboxes. Select the options that apply to your trading context. You can update these at any time.

Behavioral context tailored to your trading personality — how you respond to risk, pressure, and decision-making under uncertainty.

Settings for proprietary firm evaluation accounts — aligning Navigator's guidance with the rules and constraints of your challenge.

Applies your defined rules, risk limits, and market permissions to every session. Navigator validates all analysis against your mandate.
You're live. Once connected, Navigator is available every time you open your agent. No re-authentication required between sessions.
